I danced like a fool with flailing arms, kicking legs, and head shaking in my kitchen to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" when I was taking a break from studying for my final exam. It was a sight to see and I'm glad no one else was around to see that sight.
I've been busy writing a year long blog post about my second daughter and I keep thinking I must be close to a year each time I update it, but I've only been writing it for 4 months. She's been in my life forever.
2 weeks of blissful vacation until January 2nd coming to me, my precious. Thank you.
The family Christmas party is Saturday. We're continuing the tradition I grew up with where all the families buy gifts for the children. This was always one of my favorite memories growing up and I'm so glad we're making these memories for my children and their cousins. The only downside is that it is no longer on Christmas Eve because of scheduling conflicts.
If a certain family member continues to spell a verb with the present participle -ing as EN, I might snap. It's workING, not workEN. It's nappING, not napEN (yes, with one P). There is no way that this person graduated from the same high school as me.
How am I supposed to concentrate on work when I start a 2 week holiday vacation in 1.5 hours? Better get back to it.
